Shsat So Stupid! I Dont Get Anything!?

okay im gonna be taking the test in october 2009. i got the barron’s book and i just started with it like, last week or whatever. and so like ive got down the scrambled paragraphs, and the reading, but STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID LOGICAL REASONING AND STUPID STUPID TSUPID MATH!!! UGH!!! MATH!!!! UGHH!!!!!!!!!!! it makes no sense! its like i read everything over and over trying to understand and it just like slips out my ear!!!!! I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANNA GO TO STUYVERSTANT BUT I MEAN I’M STARTING TO FEEL HOPELESS!!!!!!!
i need motivation and tips………. i feell like crying…. (that was too dramatic… :P )
i mean like im looking at my first math question and i see “if a two digit number is decreased by the sum of its digits, then the resulting difference MUST be visible by..” WTF IS THAT?!?!? AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE PRACTICE TESTS!!!!!!!!!! IM DOOMEEDDD!!!
motivation? tips? what was the shsat like for you? i noe that the cutoff for stuy get higher and higher each year, so like for pl who took the 2008 one, was it, using the barrons book, easy, hard, fair????? AHH!!!!!

    Barrons is my favorite book for the shsat it was fair as for what it was like. It was very stressful for September all the way till the day of the test. As for the SHSAT if you need help study for it and review it. One advice don’t tend to stress out on the test. Often many people who are stressed about it do not tend to do the best regardless of how much they study whether its 1 month, 1 year, or even 2 years.
