the shsat was easy in some parts, i personaly felt that the english was too easy but the math was fair/ fair-hard. and i feel the same way as you do, omg! i cant wait for the results!!!

omg i want to get into stuy so badly too. i was so worried after i took the test. i heard this year the scores will come out on Febuary 5. almost there! i thought the test was ok. the english was easy but the math was harder than some of the practice tests i had. i don’t think i’ll get into stuy =/. oh well lets wait and see

february 5th-8th i think im not sure..buh im really REALLY SCARED. lol i wanna get into stuy as well, and my brother is there too so he can like help me if i get lost or something lmao. i thought it was medium, like some of the math questions were difficult and i wuz like running out of time, although i think i did perfectly on the ela. I think i might pass or at least get into bronx sci. And YES i am impatient too, buh theres one side of me thatz like FREAKING OUT cause im scared of what ill get in to.
Well i hope you get into stuy, and i hope i get accepted to stuy as well. Lol maybe we’ll meet each other there if we both get accepted =]

Don’t worry, I know EXACTLY how you feel =] I thought it was medium…some questions caught me off guard, like I didn’t expect them at all, even though I’m really confident in math, so for me it was medium. I’m actually not impatient about this…I think it’s worth the wait, no matter what the result is, because I think I’ll be ready ^_^
I don’t think you should stress about this- just inferring from the tone of what you wrote, it seems you’re a bit stressed I guess - because stressing won’t change the result and it only makes your life more difficult if you think about the results =]

Considering that the results for last year came on February 8th, we can only hope that they come early this year as well. I’m also feeling impatient about what I scored, and whether or not I was accepted in Stuyvesant.
In my opinion, the test was simple. Compared to the practice tests that my prep school threw at me, the actual SHSAT had easier passages, shorter math problems, and less work involved in general.
I don’t believe I can answer you question about whether I think I passed or not, because the SHSAT does not have a pass or fail grade. I’m fairly confident in the answers I put down though.
Good luck with getting into Stuyvesant… And dealing with your impatience. ;].

i think the results will come on February 5, 2009. I want to get into stuy also. the test was OKAY. i don’t know if i passed or not but i hope i did. im really impatient, just ask my friends ( i drive them crazy). lolz, anyways good luck to u. hope u get in!
